What a pleasure it is to attend a local Farmers Market. You’ll find a bounty of produce among other things. There are a wide variety of offerings and the colors are just spectacular!
I’ve been stopping by the Bangor Farmers’ Market on Sundays and…
…I’ve found some of the most beautiful produce including Organic cherry tomatoes,
carrots,
Heirloom tomatoes,
hot peppers,
parsley, radishes, basil, onions, garlic, zucchini, cucumbers,
flowers,
dairy products,
etc., etc., etc.
I’ve got to say that it’s hard not to buy everything in sight. Everything is so vibrant!
When you attend a Farmers Market you can be assured that everything is as fresh as it can be. That means that anything that you make using the ingredients will have so much flavor and contain so many more nutrients! And nothing tastes like a locally grown, organic, heirloom tomato, sliced and adorned with just a bit of extra-virgin olive oil, Mediterranean sea salt and fresh basil. So FRESH! 🙂
You can always find a bounty of produce at Farmers Markets so be sure to visit and support your local farmers.
